Never Say Good Bye

My husband and I had a crazy relationship from the get go.  We met online, lived in two different states, we both had jobs and ran our own businesses, we had children and families and here we were trying to have a long distance relationship...AND make it work.  To say it was a piece of cake would be me blowing smoke up your patootie, but it was well worth it.

We would talk on the phone EVERY.  SINGLE.  NIGHT.  No matter the hour, no matter the life events taking place around us.  We also drove 3 hours every Friday night to spend a whole whopping 12 hours together before we turned around and made the trek back home to get back to our lives.  We did the whole LDR for 10 months before we tied the knot...in a Starbuck's, on my lunch hour.  We lived a part for another 6 months before we decided that living apart was no fun in the least bit.  So, I picked up my goodies and moved to New Mexico.  The rest of the story actually has YOU in it, so how fun is THAT?!

Needless to say, having stamps in my collection of sentiments catered to LDR's is extremely important to me and today actually marks the anniversary of when my honey bunny "proposed"  to me in Durango, CO.  I figured it would be a great day to make a special card that reminded me of all that we went through to get to where we are today.

Here is the picture that give me the inspiration for the card today.  I love flowers and I have been dying to plant some peony bulbs in my garden, but until I have a special place for them it looks like I will enjoy looking at pictures on Pinterest!

I loved the pinks and the rose colored flower in the middle.  It was so cheery and bright that I instantly fell in love with the picture and thought it would work out PERFECTLY with our new Peony stamp.

How lovely did this turn out???  It is just a simple little card, but the colors just make it pop!  I also used Avocado Liquid Pearls as little accents.
It was a super simple card to make and if I finish this post up quickly enough, I can finish it and give it to my hubby tonight before our Godzilla fest with the kids.  Did I mention we now have FIVE kids between us?

If you would like to make your own pretty peony card, you can find the stamps and Liquid Pearls I used on our website:

Happy Stamping!
