Regal Phineas

Good morning everyone - Jennifer here, and I've been playing with the oh-so-regal Phineas the peacock.

Seriously, he's just amazing! I used a star stamp from DeNami and the Simon Says Stamp Fog ink to make his background paper, then inked up Phineas in Papertrey Ink's Teal - can I get an oo la la? When he was dry, I grabbed my Stitched Duo 1 die from Pretty Pink Posh and cut him up. Yes, I cut him to pieces...LOL

The rest of the layers were simple; everything is Neenah Solar White cardstock:

1. Put the Phineas pieces to one side, then grab your A2 base card. Using the Pretty Pink Posh stitched borders die, create the decorated edge on the side.

2. Using the second-largest stitched rectangle die from Lawn Fawn, die cut the rectangle for the Phineas pieces to be adhered to; attach to the front of the card.

3. Reassemble Phineas! I used foam tape on the back and put my Phineas puzzle back together.

4. Grab some gold 4mm sequins, tweezers, and your Ranger multi matte glue and deck out some of Phineas's tail feathers. Hey, the boy needs bling!

5. Add a thin strip of gold foil paper to the inside of the card, so that when closed the decorative edge is backed in gold.

6. Tell Phineas how handsome he is. :)

In keeping with January's challenge, the gold paper and Lawn Fawn dies are new, as is Phineas himself. Be sure to join us!
