SMILE IS YOUR DAY!

Hello So Suzy fans! Martha Lucia here with a great stamp to share with you. The spring has sprung and the April stamps arrivals are full of beautiful flowers.

For today I chose the Flower Swirl Trio, that I embossed with black embossing powder and cut with scissors in silhouette to paste over my card base.

The steps to create this card are very simple. I used whisper white cardstock for the base, the second layer is basic black and the third layer is also whisper white with a little twist. I made one beautiful technique on this called coloring with embossing folders.

TECHNIQUE:
To make this you only need a brayer, your favorite embossing folder and your favorite color of ink. I used the Tangelo Twist Classic Ink, perfect color and design for this spring.
You have to ink one face of your embossing folder using the brayer, put your cardstock inside, pass immediately through your bigshot and that's it. Remember to clean your embossing folder with a stampin' mist or any other stamping cleaner to keep it in great condition.

After I finished my third layer I assembled all the pieces and created a white space to paste my die cut sentiment and my Flower Swirl Trio.

I hope my idea inspired you to create your own cards and if you want to share these with us you have a wonderful opportunity with So Suzy Challenge. You can see all the details HERE and remember if you win you can buy in the So Suzy Store, too! The theme for our challenge this month is Birthday, which is why my card says Smile... it's your day!
