Fishing on the River

Good Morning friends! This is Payel here from Beau Monde Designs with a water color inspiration card.

Inspiration: I created this card using the June new release stamps, ‘Boy in a Boat’ and ‘Cattails’ from So Suzy Stamps.  I love these stamps and I thought I would create a sweet river scene using these stamps and some hand-drawn elements of my own. I had a lot of fun water coloring this card.

How I made my card:
1) I started off by stamping the ‘Boy in a Boat’ and ‘Cattails’ stamp on a piece of water color paper using ‘Antique Linen’ distress ink.
2) I used distress inks to water color this scene in several layers, some of which you can see in the pictures below.
2) I matted my water color piece onto some ivory-colored card stock and adhered this onto a ‘Sea Glass’ card base.
3)  To finish off my card I stamped my sentiment using Versamark Ink and embossed it with platinum embossing powder.

So Suzy Stamps used:

Other supplies used:
Sentiment from Mama Elephant ‘Ella and Friends’ stamp set, Gina K. Designs ‘Ivory’ card stock, Simon Says Stamp ‘Sea Glass’ card stock, Distress Inks, Ranger ‘Liquid Platinum’ Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink, Strathmore water color paper, Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive High Performance Tape.

Hope you like my card. Have a great day!!
