Here Fishy Fishy

Hello! Amy Davis from AmysArtsyStuff writing today for So Suzy Stamps and sharing these cute little fish that were released July 1. If you haven't checked out the incredible amount of new stamps click here.
For today's post I created a happy fish, underwater scene. The fish, sea plant and coral were all released in July. I stamped the images using memento black onto whisper white paper. These would be great to try no line coloring if you haven't don't that yet.  Then colored the images using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. Then I fussy cut each item out. (The other sea creatures and penguins are also part of the new release)

This is an A2 size card with a white card base. I cut the blue paper the same size to fit on the card front. If this is your first time reading my post, I usually make card fronts simply because I end up with ink everywhere. This allows me to get messy without messing up the card itself. I can clean my hands and workspace before I glue it down. Once my pieces are cut out making the card goes very quickly.
I laid everything out before using adhesive just to find just the right combination that I am looking for. I put the two sea plants directly on the blue paper behind the yellow and purple coral. I then added the coral with the middle piece being elevated with dimensionals. I also used dimensionals on both fish placing one a little higher than the other.

I couldn't wait to do the air bubbles, I think it is my favorite part of this card. lol I used the bubbles stamp and stamped the image with Versamark. Then I spread clear embossing powder and used the heat gun to melt the powder to a shiny finish. I love the bubbles!

Once everything was glued on I brought out the stickles. They are my favorite finishing tool. I used lime green, red, fruit punch and two greens on this card. I also tried some sprinkled sugar on the middle of the bubbles but it didn't really show up or make much of a difference. I think next time I will try diamond instead.

The final item was to stamp the sentiment, 'Sending you a  note'. I love this because it can truly be used for any occasion. Thank you for reading and I would love to hear your comments.
