THROW THE MATCH

Happy Wednesday dear friends! Martha Lucia here to share with you a beautiful card using a Throw the Match a real life sentiment that is part of the releases of the month.

To create this card you need a few materials. I used a Gold Metallic Foil to cut the doily and Basic Black cardstock to cut the branches and for the base card. The second layer is a Whisper White cardstock and the color of my mountain is Wild Wasabi. The first thing that you need to do, is cut the die cuts. If you want you can only cut a quarters of the doily using the Gold Metallic Foil, if you decided to cut the entire piece you can recycle the leftover piece for another project. Then cut your branch. I am using two die cuts from Die-Namites, the Spring Doily and the Budding Branch.

To create the mountain you can use a border template or make your own template. I just sponged the border with more intensity on the top using the Wild Wasabi Classic Ink from Stampin Up. The last part was stamp the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I pasted the die cuts on top on my card with snail adhesive before to paste the second layer over the card base. Then I decorated the branches with a few rose sequins that I pasted using mini glue dots.

I really love the message of Throw the Match and I think that using this with die cuts to keep the sentiment alone bring me the opportunity to show you how wonderful it is.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post and I would love to have you visit in my blog Stampartpapel HERE . See you soon!

Martha Lucia.
