Fall Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Coffee Lovers Fall Blog Hop!  Thanks to our resident crazy caffeinated Design Team member, Miss Jennifer, we are proud to be a first time sponsor!  That means all sorts of FABULOUS caffeinated shopping just for you!  Be sure and check out everyone's creations and be entered to win some amazing prizes.  (Can't beat that for a Fall morning, right?)

For this card I wanted something simple and with the cooler temperatures coming I thought the trees made a nice understated statement of things to come!

I started by using my Coffee Christmas Tree and inked it with Memento Rich Cocoa and stamped it in the middle of the card toward the top leaving enough room for my sentiment at the bottom.  Next, I used Memento Summer Sky ink and flanked my Coffee Tree with the Swirled Christmas Tree.  I wanted to make sure I off-set the Coffee Tree to make it my focal point, so I made sure to lower each of the Swirl Tree when I stamped them.

Once my trees were finished, I inked Happiness Is... with the Rich Cocoa ink and stamped it in the bottom center of the Ivory paper.

I was enjoying how the card was shaping up, but it still looked a little naked so I did a simple two dot and line border around the whole card to frame it in and it was just what it needed!

I taped my finished layer to a piece of light blue paper and wrapped a nice wide satin grosgrain ribbon around both of those pieces.  I wanted to add a bit of dimension to my card so I adhered it to the front of the card with foam tape.

As soon as I was finished, I decided to give my trees a bit of bling by adding some little dots to the trees using Silver Stickles!

It was a quick and easy card that took me less than 15 minutes to create!

For the inside, I used a couple of our other "coffee themed" stamps, which you can find on our website!

Thank you so much for stopping by and be sure and check out the other sponsors and participants of the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Happy Stamping!!!
