Thank you Postcards

Hello everyone!!  Kymona here today!!  First let me apologize for delaying your So Suzy Stamps post for today!! I'm currently on a couple college tours with my kids.  Yes, I have a 17 year old son who will graduate in June and I still can' believe it.

We are currently walking on campus so let me jump in so that I don't walk into trees while typing my post, LOL!!

Our challenge this month is all about Thanksgiving/Fall so I thought it was fitting to create thank you postcards to send those that we are thankful for.

Take a look:

I totally love how these postcards turned out.  The best part is they are really post cards.  The back has the lines for an address and postage!!  So they are ready to go out in the mail as soon as I decide  who will get one.

Let's take a closer look:

These postcards were so easy to create.  All I need was some watercolor paper, So Suzy Stamps, my Misti and watercolor paper.

Here is how I was able to create three cards at once:

I used my Misti to stamp the image and the sentiment all at once.  I was able to stamp all of them back to back and them put my stamps and inks away.  So no reason to have any ink mess ups on my work.

Once my images where stamped, I used my Inktense pencils #1210 Dark Aquamarine, #1930 Dark Chocolate, #1510 Beach Green and #0250 Cadmium Orange to color in my image.

So easy and doable!!

Now its your turn!! I can't wait to see what you come up with!!  Our challenge ends in less then two weeks.  I hope your joining us.

I have to go now, walking and typing isn't easy as I thought.

Before I go,  did you know that So Suzy Stamps can be found on InstagramFacebookPinterestTwitter and Periscope?  Yes, you should join us there and find more inspirations and fun!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

  2. These are super cool Kymona, so easy to make multiples too! I just use my generic staedtler colored pencils but these inktense ones are intriguing! Thank you for sharing. ^__^ <3
