The Splendor of Fall with the Whimsy Tree

Hello dear friends, Martha Lucia here to start the month with you. Today I am using one of the most beautiful and elegant stamps of this new release, the Whimsy Tree.

This fantastic tree has plenty of special designs. Their branches are arabesques mixed with leaves and small dots that are perfect to use with different kind of inks and textures.

In my model I only used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, to show you all these details. I stamped my images over a sponged background that I created using three different colors of classic ink: Bermuda Bay, Sahara Ink and Tangelo Twist, the same colors that I used for the layers.

As additional details I decorated the right top with a little banner in designer paper with a medium pearl on the center.

This month you will have the opportunity to use this stamp or any from our entire collection to participate in our monthly challenge, the theme is Thanksgiving & Fall and you can entry your creation here. You will have the opportunity to win one Gift Card from So Suzy Store and by the way, are you visiting the store recently? Did you see the new products? the new stencils and the new embossing folders? OMG the are dangerous!!!!

Just go and be prepare for the season!!!

See you soon,

  5. Love your use of color. Love the stamp & I really love the way you masked off one side of the colored area for a straight line but let the other side wander gently off. Nice composition.
