Mini Notebook

Hello everyone!!  Kymona signing in late today!! Please forgive me. I was going to boycott all of my work today but Suzy wiped me into shape!!  LOL!

Its snowing here in NY and I HATE it!!  Its cold and I hate driving in it!  I will admit its pretty to look at and thats all!!n  LOL!!

Take a look:

Right, its pretty to look at but moving that stuff dreadful!!  Back breaking, LOL!!  Ok, ok no more snow bashing since some of you might really like it.  I do not want any hate mail from my snow bashing!!

I here today with a quick little project that is sure to please.  Keeping up with our "costal theme" this month, I create this mini notebook using So Suzy Stamp Surf Shack and some Therm-o-web Gold Foil!!

Take a look:

Isn't this mini notebook the cutest!!  This notebook is for my coworker, she loves to write down the names and titles of books that she reads each year.  I gave her one two years ago and she is almost finish so this one is for her.

I know your wondering if there really is foil on that Shack and guess what there is!!

Take a look:

You have to hold it at an angle in order to see the foil if its not in front of you.  I missed one or two spots but I'm ok with that.

I love how it turned out.

Here is how I created this mini project:

1. I stamped the Surf Shack image onto some card stock and scanned it onto my computer.  I need to do that because I need to use my laser printer to print it out.  The laser printer uses toner and that is what I need to get the foil to stick to my image.

2. After the image was printed, I ran it through my Brother ScanNCut, to cut it out.

3. After the image was cut out, I added the foil to the image and ran it through my Mini Minc.

4. Take a look at the action.

5. Can you see the image behind the gold foil?  Yes, its there!!  Once I pulled the foil off the pretty image laid below. Take a look at the negative piece.

6. Then I pulled out my Cinch and create the book.

I love all of my gadgets.  They all come in handy when I need them.

So what do you think?  Would you try foiling your So Suzy Stamps?  Would you use the ScanNCut to cut out your images?  Would you create a book?  I hope so.  It was fun and pretty simple to create this mini book.

I hope my coworker loves her new book.  I do, LOL!!!

Supplies used:

Thermoweb Gold Foil

Surf Shack

Brother ScanNCut
Anna Griffin Minc 6"
We R Memory Keeper Cinch

Thank you so much for stopping by!!
