April Flower Frenzy Release

Welcome to the April Release!  I cannot tell you just how excited I am for this Release.  To be honest, I don't get to play with the stamps as much as I would like, but April's stamps?  Oh, you darn well better believe I busted them right out and started to play...A LOT!  We are talking, I did NOTHING but stamp and make a mess and it was pure heaven!

I had my Ink Bites scattered from one end of my desk to another, I busted out 6 cards in a single sitting and didn't do a bit of laundry!  I also had a fun time posting sneak peek pictures to our Facebook Group Page.  What can I say?  I am horrible at keeping some of this stuff to myself!

Let's check out some of my favorite cards that I had a fun time creating last week.

Several months ago, my cousin sent this quote and I just had to create it into a stamp.  I absolutely love the sentiment and let's face it, when times are tough the only thing you can do is out tough the tough!  Those flowers?  Ya, they are new!  The inks?  Yep, those are ours too!  If you don't have your Ink Bites yet, you really should get some.  They are just way too fun!

This was the first card and envelope I created using the new stamps.  Purple is one of my most favorite colors and I was dying to use them with the Wispy Chrysanthemums and Ranunculus stamps.

If you are looking for a fun way to tell someone they are the most amazing thing since sliced bread, Bomdiggityshizznit is the stamp for you!  It totally says it all and it will keep them giggling, that's for sure!  Because, Kim, you're the bomdiggity to my shizznit!  he he he

This card was INSANELY fun to make.  I must admit that I have a secret Ken Oliver Color Burst crush.  I love making random background papers.  I make them and tuck them away just waiting for the perfect time to use them and it just so happens that I FOUND that perfect time!  I embossed the outline flowers onto the papers in white and then fussy cut them out to created these gorgeously colorful flowers.

You will have to excuse this next card, I forgot to take a good picture of it before I sent it off to some lucky lady.  Seriously, I do not make and send cards.  I am HORRIBLE at it!  As a matter of fact, my son turned 18 last week and the first words out of his mouth when he was opening his presents, "Wow, Mom. You don't love me enough to make me a card."  Epic FAIL on my part!  So, when that lucky person gets her card in the mail....CHERISH IT!  And don't tell my son!

If you remember back in the fall, we came out with our Blowing Tree and Blowing Leaves stamps and they were such a HUGE hit that we have created an ENTIRE series of these stamps.  We are going to start by introducing our Spring collection with the Blowing Flowers and the Blowing Flower Tree.  They are just so pretty and perfect for Spring.

Chris made this card using the Blowing Flower Tree and Nuvo Crystal Dots.  You can check out all of the details on her blog.  I absolutely LOVE those Crystal Dots!

And Jennifer went all crazy and Deco Foiled our new flowers!!!!!   Did I mention we now carry ThermoWeb Deco Foil?  Yep, we do!  You can have pretty shiny flowers just like Jen!

You will be able to see the creations that the rest of the team made later on in the month.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the stamps out quick enough this month.  (Someone may have played A LOT with the new stamps and dropped the ball....ooops!)

In the meantime, take some time and peruse the new stamps, check out the Design Team Challenge we have going on over the next few days and be sure and let us know what your favorite stamp is from this month's Release!

Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
