Good morning everyone - Jen here with an easy CAS card layout that you can use again and again.
Can I tell you, for some reason the ideas are not flowing for me lately, so off I went to Pinterest for ideas. After finding several watercolor tutorials, a few sketches, and a wonderful recipe for margaritas I stumbled across a pretty black & white card with a pop of color. Aw yeah, now we're talking!
The Daisy Flourish that came out in March (I'm one of the Miss March gals this month, remember...LOL) makes for a really pretty, repeatable pattern. For a pop of color I grabbed my Copics and then fussy-cut it out when I was done.
Well, I thought I was done - it was begging to be doodled on. And it wanted a Buttermilk Nuvo center. Rather a demanding daisy, really.
I had a little gap in my stamping that was perfect for one of the little sentiments. I heat embossed the Miss You sentiment in gold to finish off the front, then turned to the inside panel while the Nuvo Drops dried.
Can we talk about how much I love that Flower Flourish? Seriously, it is the bombdiggity when it comes to simple-yet-elegant backgrounds. To mimic the colors of the daisy I stamped the flourish in soft green ink, then stamped the I'd Hug You sentiment repeatedly with some raspberry ink to make it nice and dark. A little stitched border action and this card was done!

Now, we know the store shelves are pretty bare - they're recovering from the anniversary bash. So, if there's something you really want, be sure to hit the 'notify me' button and you'll get an email when it's back. I'd move fast when you do, though...they may not last long!
