Today, I'm sharing this wintry, new Snowflake Bunkie Bag that was custom made by Denise from Simply Charming Everyday. These adorable, crafty companions are bestsellers at So Suzy Stamps, and the Snowflake Bunkie Bag just landed in Suzy's shop this week! This is my first Bunkie Bag and I'm so excited! The fabric is so, so very soft and Denise has added some fun embellishments to my custom bag, as well.
Notice those darling heart buttons? They adorn the straps, along with little mini hearts stitched onto the front side of the fabric. The Snowflake Bunkies in Suzy's store are just like mine.... minus those tiny little hearts. Hey, I did say mine was "custom" made, right? I made a card that coordinates with my Bunkie Bag, as well. My little puffy hearts were made with vellum and a snow marker. Yes, a snow marker!
*Bonus tip: Just run your snow marker across a piece of vellum, allow to dry for a few minutes, then heat up with your embossing tool. It turns your liquid into puffy fun. Use a mini heart punch to punch out your puffy heart.
I love that Denise will custom make just about anything your little heart desires. We collaborated on the bunkie and card because I love matching my accessories! Look closely and you'll also see snowflakes stamped randomly across my wintry, watercolored and paint splattered sky with the Snowflake Trio stamp.
My sentiment, Snowflake Kisses, was heat embossed with Nuvo embossing powder, and chopped up to use inside and out. I love the bare tree which was inked with Suzy's ink bites in Eqyptian Sand, from the Coastal Breeze Ink Bites collection. The rest of my sentiment can be found inked on the inside of my card with more snowflake stamping and puffy hearts. (mini snapshot below).
I'm tickled pink with how well my card matches my Bunkie Bag! The Bunkies make great gifts too, by the way. You can find many more fabric creations by Denise including Misti zip pouches. They're great for protecting the best stamping tool ever invented! Don't forget, you can have just about anything custom made as well; covers for your die cutting machines and even larger tote bags. I had Denise make me a Rudolph Christmas tote last year and I love it!
I haven't decided yet, how I want to use my new Bunkie, although it's great for tossing in a few supplies on the go. I love carrying crafty stuff to work and taking time to craft on my lunch break. This will be perfect for that! Then again, it would be fun to keep track of all my winter stamps and winter themed embellishments..... decisions, decisions. Looks like I'm going to need more Bunkie Bags!
*Please note there will be shipping delays as shown below while Suzy attends the Creativation Conference. We appreciate your patience!
