Glitter clear shaker

Hi and welcome to the So Suzy Stamps blog.
Today I would like to share with you this clear shaker with lots of glitter in it.

The sentiment stamp I used is Sparkle all day and it's just perfect for any glitter project.

Here is how I've made this clear shaker.
First I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock with versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

With my cuttlebug I cut out the sentiment using a circle die.

Then came the difficult part of the shaker.
I put the black circle with the sentiment between two pages of fuseable clear sheets. On the top sheet I taped down a slightly larger circle die and with my hot fuse tool I traced around the circle to seal it but leaving the top part open.

Here you can see that I left the top open. I did cut away some the excess clear sheet.

Then I filled up the pouch with glitter hearts and stars. I die cut some of the pieces using smal hearts and stars dies out of purple and gold glitter paper. I put the circle die back and closed the pouch with the fuse tool.

Using more glitter paper I die cut two scalloped circles and glued them on the front and back of the clear shaker.

and here is how it turned out.

I  hope I've given you some new inspiration on clear shakers.

This is my last blog post as a design team member for So Suzy Stamps.
So Suzy was my first design team experience and I learned a lot in the past year.
Due to busy months ahead (our new house is ready) and other DT's I've decided to say goodbye to this team. I loved being on the So Suzy Team. It really is a great and funny team.
THANKS to everyone at So Suzy Stamps for a wonderful experience!
We'll keep in touch on all the social media.

Love and Hugs,
Henriette.
